Facilitating Futures: Brisbane based, we are an Asia-Pacific consultancy linked to the Australian Swinburne University Futures Studies program and Metafuture.
We are here to help guide you towards your preferred future and vision. While the facilitator acts a guide, the futurist offers futures methodologies and tools. Together the facilitating futurist helps leverage you and/or your organisations collective expertise and experience to help you challenge assumptions, identify opportunities and pitfalls, cultivate a shared vision and ultimately create a pathway forward into a better, more desirable and sustainable future.
Willow Pryor: As the principal consultant and futurist, I am a big picture thinker focused on more equitable, sustainable and just futures.
I enjoy igniting a sense of agency within people and organisations so that they can work towards their desired future in the context of a rapidly changing, complex world. One key question that fuels my passion for working with others in the foresight space is ‘how can you work towards being more forward thinking, innovative and sustainable?’.
My background lies in the areas of strategic foresight, strategy, business development and facilitation in private enterprise, not for profits and government departments. Specific experience lies in the areas of water, health and education. It is because of this background, along with a diverse range of life experiences, that I know how to draw the best out of people. To support you to see beyond ‘business as usual’ into a new paradigm that supports your preferred and desired futures and allows you to take advantage of opportunities as they emerge is my goal. Most of all I enjoy working with people – it provides me with deep satisfaction to see teams working together consciously in collaboration.
